I went again to Kenya for a very short visit this time and sponsored by my friends who are taking over Savannah Travel! ( Thanks! )

I had closed down my travel agency in Holland Savannah Travel so that I could focus more on S'Harity Safaris which is registered in Kenya. However good friends of mine decided to take over Savannah Travel and cooperate with S'Harity Safaris. As a team of three we will be very strong to manage the business. It is very good news for me not to handle the Tourism alone anymore so that I will be released from pressure and to much work! So a serious word with the staff was needed.

The other good news is that the inquiries for volunteering work is increasing also for schools and hospitals so that I registered a volunteering work bureau! Safari Mission is the name of the organisation. Your safari with a mission! Sounds good, short and powerfull. It is already succesfull cause within short time many volunteers also from abroad registered. I do work professional and have though of many issues. With the experiences I had for the last few years in Kenya with volunteers Iam capable to run this agency in a profissional manner with the help of the coordinator in Kenya!

More good news: the fundraising action for building a own home is proceeding well. There is a magazine coming out soon about the project. The architect has made a good building plan and we now can show our sponsors what we exactly want to built. The plan will be showed on this site soon. We have decided to built the home in Kikambala away from crowded Mtwapa. In Kikambale the plots are cheaper then in Mtwapa. Here we want to create a childrens village a center where we have our own home, our own hospital and school and a small churche. We are very busy to get donations and pray that this will be all succesfull. More and more people are getting involved in the project and we are very gratefull and happy with this.

We want to thank all the people who keep on supporting the home, especially Rianne and Tamara who are in different ways a support to me! We are very spoiled with a lot of beautiful gifts from England, the children look so cute with the clothes from England! Thank you all of you for visiting us and supporting us. Keep supporting us especially next year when we have more children!
