Jambo
! These are Beatrice, Faith and Savannah.Children of the
Lioness Cubs home in Mtwapa. They are 2 years, 6 months and
almost 3 years. Beatrice came to us when she was about 3
months old. She is the sister of Sylvester and Dennis who
are also living in the home. Savannah is a child with a
story. Many know her, love her and she is our special one.
Cause we almost lost her. She is fighting for her life cause
she is a HIV child. With up and downs she keeps us in fear
and joy.. Our home right now has 13 children in the age of 6
months till 15 years. Two boys age 18 years are living in
Nairobi on their own with the support of the foundation. The
childofficer department knows to find us there days and we
have welcomed three children in a short time lately through
this office. And we know more and more children will follow.
We can't refuse them. How can we? So we take them, and with
the support of the staff, the volunteers and donations we
are feeding them, sending them to school, giving them
medical care, buying them clothes, taking them out for trips
to enjoy their lives. We give them love and attention.
But we
need financial help. Cause the expenses are getting higher
and higher. We are also really in a need to buy a plot of 3
acre to built a home for about 50 children, a staff and
volunteers unit, a private school and washing units for the
children. The architect has made the plan, now we will start
to obtain the financials means through activities,
approaching companies and kindly requesting everyone to
think about us with Christmas?
