Good things
follow after the bad things...
Edward: no
longer in charge. He was a good father but unfortunatly
refused to follow any instruction about technical and
administration issues. This resulted in financial lost and we
cant afford that as an orphanage. Also for personal reasons
which involved the relationship to my care taker a his sister
in law, we have released Edward Oketch.
Myriam and
Humprey: released for some serious reasons. Lets say this if
you want to know the truth just email me.
July
2th, we left with two cars to Dusseldorf Germany where we
would board the LTU to Mombasa. It took us 2 hours to arrive
in Dusseldorf. We were very early and waited for some time by
walking, shopping and then checking in. We had three big
suitcases and 4 handluggage, Joa in the buggy and Nathan. The
flight was very much ok, most of the time the children were
asleep so it was not hard to travel.
We
arrived in Mombasa on July 3th and were awaited by the taxi
driver. We went straight to our house to ress and fresh up a
bit before visiting the home. Kenya.. here we are for 5 long
weeks, plenty of time. plenty to do plenty to enjoy... were
our thoughs. But once again we were confronted by the
brutality of staf members. After this story you truthfully
wonder is there anyone you can trust?
The
children were excited to see us and we also enjoyed to see
them when we came in the home later that day. Ashonished to
see how they have been growing and how well behaved they are.
Baby Faith walking ! Beetie a really beauty! Johnson, so tall
and still the same...Salomé a very beautiful and sweet girl.
Maxwell still longing to be a soldier, Gregory a funny but
some times so quiet boy, Moses a little billy Turfie, he runs
so funny and like to eat and eat... Dixon, cute active boy
like to get a lot of attention. Sylvester changed a lot. He
talks very well, and enjoys it so much when you take him to
the beach! Dennis, same big eyes, wondering, asking...
Maurice, a boy with a lot of joy. Selina, changed a lot since
she came to us. She is so happy with us. She can only
sometimes get very agressive and still has attacks of
epilepsy. We didnt bring a lot of presents but brought some
clothes and toys, and shoes.
The
first week we were almost daily in the home. We returned to
our house in the evening as we didnt have dinner there. The
dinner table was fully occupied with the children, staf and
volunteers. Humprey and Myriam were happy to see us ( how we
were wrong ) and James showed us how he turned into a big
young man, cooking well, and educating the children a lot
about manners. James used to live in the streets when we took
him with us. He was by then about 14 years old. He is now 18
years, a handsome young man, a caring well about the
volunteers. I think when I leave him in the home, one day he
will disappear to Europe with one of the volunteers as well...
( that happened before )
