This guide is ment for you, lucky lady or master to come with your
parents to Kenya or Tanzania! This guide will explain you about the
safari, the animals you can find in these countries, the children
living within Kenya and Tanzania. And for your own knowledge we
explain something to you about the education in these countries. If
possible ask your driver to visit a school if you are interested.
You will see that there is a big difference in schools here in Kenya
or Tanzania and your country. Close to the Masai Mara there are some
schools you can visit and you will be very suprised to know how a
school look like.Another experience you should have is to visit a
tribe whereby you can find out about the children. How do they play
what kind of toys do they have? You might be shocked to learn that
there is nothing then a self made ball of paper and a lot of
elastiques! Children in Kenya are mostly poorly dressed except in
the big cities where you might find well settled families who can
afford to dress their children nicely. But mostly you will find the
children being dressed in clothes you probably will not even accept
to wear! Clothes are to expensive for parents to buy and the money
they are earning is ment for food and education. Children in Kenya
and Tanzania will look at you with their big eyes, they will admire
your shoes, your clothes, your watch, your camera. They all dream
that one day they will be able to buy that too. But most of them are
not so lucky they will end up living in very poor places. Many
children live in slumbs, |
