Day 1: Leave
Nairobi at around 9.00am with a stop over to view the kikuyu escarpment
for a while, then proceed to Narok to be there at 1.00
pm for lunch. After lunch drive through the Loita plains to be in Masai Mara for a
short afternoon gamedrive before getting to the Ololaimutia campsite for
dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast leave for a full day gamedrive with lunchboxes to The
Mara River where you can view crocodiles, hippos and wild game e.g lion,
elephants, zebra etc. Dinner and overnight at the campsite to enjoy a barbecue within the fireplace during the night.
Day 3:
Morning game drive at 6.30am to come back for breakfast at 9.00am. After
breakfast visit Masai village whereby the children can play together and
story telling about the masai culture. Come back for and a rest to await
for 4 oclock gamedrive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 4:
After breakfast, those willing can have a walking safari to the Musiara
hill this is where you can view the whole of Masai Mara park. Meanwhile
children can be left at the campsite with those not willing to go. After
lunch there can be a rest, and children can play in the compound. Dinner
and overnight at the campsite.
Day 5:
Leave Mara after breakfast to Naivasha enroute lunch at Mai Mahiu then
proceed to Lake Naivasha after lunch to arrive there early afternoon,
dinner and overnight at Fish Eagle Inn campsite.
Day 6:
Visit Hell's Gate National Park after breakfast whereby you can walk
with animals like zebra, giraffe warthogs, gazelles and antelopes. After
lunch children can play within the campsite or those willing can go to
do horse riding and this is at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the
Fish Eagle Inn.
Day 7:
Leave Naivasha after breakfast towards Nakuru to arrive in Nakuru for
lunch. After lunch proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park to view
thousands of flamingoes, pelicans and other types of birds as well as
wild animals like rhinos, giraffes and buffalo etc. Dinner and overnight
at a budget hotel (craterview)
Day 8:
Leave Nakuru after breakfast to Lake Bogoria where you can see grater
flamingoes within the lake and a hot spring, please view it with an
extra care because the springs are hundred percent super hot. After
lunch drive towards Lake Baringo for dinner and overnight at Robert's
Camp.
Day 9:
After breakfast, the day is spent either walking along the shore of the
Lake or taking a boat ride at extra cost, to go and view hippos and
crocodiles and as well as visiting islands in the middle of the lake
Baringo. After lunch, you can walk to nearby cliff to watch more birds
and eagles. Dinner and overnight at Robert's Camp.
Day 10:
Leave Baringo after breakfast to Nairobi enroute lunch then proceed to
Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon either to overnight in a budget
hotel or catch the 7.00pm train to Mombasa. Those leaving for their home
country are going to be dropped of at the ariport.
Second
part 14 days safari, if you want to continue the safari to Mombasa and
end there you can follow this program:
Day 11:
Leave Nairobi at around 9.00am to arrive at Namanga for lunch break.
After lunch, proceed to Amboseli National Park enroute game drive to be
at the Amboseli public campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Wake
up early for the morning game drive to come back for breakfast at
9.00am. After that take a break at the campsite upto lunch time. After
lunch those willing can go for a swimming at the nearest lodge at an
extra cost, while waiting for the 4pm game drive. Dinner and overnight
at the campsite.
Day 13:
After breakfast, leave Amboseli Park towards shetani lava flow to arrive
In Tsavo West National Park to be there for lunch. After lunch visit
Mzima springs the source of Mombasa water, and view fish and hippos.
Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel In Mtito.
Day 14:
After breakfast, drive to Mombasa for drop off or to
return to Nairobi the following day.
Includes all
meals during the safari, transfers and safaris in mini safari
bus with open roof, entrance fees and campingfees. extra staff members travelling with
us if needed, toys and books present. Overnight in
budgethotels, cottages and spacy family tents.
Please if you
have any toys, shoes, clothes, books etc for our orphans home in
Mombasa or for the Masai children dont hesitate to bring it with
you. The children will be very very happy with any gift and for
our children it is good to learn to
