In 1994 I travelled to Kenya for the first time. I felt in love with this beautiful country. The incredible magnificent beauty of the nature, the friendly people, the calling rhytm of the African sounds, the lovely kids with big smiles, delicious fruits, amazing large number of wild animals... I was infected with the ' Africa virus' . I returned again and again. In 2000 after returning several times to Kenya I startte the agency Savannah Travel. Organising safari's in Kenya and Tanzania, succesfull and growing fast with excellent drivers, cooks and other staff members. In 2002 I founded the orphanage Lioness Cubs Home to help orphans to give them education, a warm shelter, food, medical care and hope for a future. We worked with volunteers from 2003 and still get volunteers from several countries to come and assist with the home.

In 2007 I lived in Kenya with my Kenyan husband and children where we runned our local agency. In 2008 we returned to the Netherlands and I startte to organise weddings as well after obtaining my diploma as wedding planner. However planning safari's is still as well our passion and in combination with organising weddings a goal for life..

In the meanwhile several weddings were organised with the assistance of our local team of weddingplanners, hairdressers, visagists, photographers and decorators.
