Describtion :The Stanley is one of the Kenya's first Luxury and historical hotels opened in 1902 during the time of the colonial rulings.  Since then it has been the centre of attraction and comitments spot for its sites in Nairobi, having all the Major facilities, seminars, reception, and most Conference are being carried out at The Stanely, there after called New Stanley. It is where Kenya’s first locally brewed beer was served at Hotel's Long Bar in 1923. Ewart Grogan, who walked from Cape to Cairo to prove his love for a woman, slaked his considerable thirst, so did Ernest Hemingway, Denys Finch Hatton and Edward Prince of Wales.  At The Stanley, the stars came out at night: Stewart Granger, Ava Gardener, Clark Gable. They all came to The Stanley.

Today, as The Stanley enters its second century, it is once again making history-by readopting its original name, and much of its original character. The spacious foyer, with its marble floors, leather furniture, and antique brass and wrought-iron fittings, recalls a graceful era of fine furnishings and grand living, of a cool Victoria elegance.
